Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

1. What Ledgerhawk is

Ledgerhawk ("we," "us") is a service that helps businesses ("you," "your account") track invoices and send automated payment reminder emails to their own clients. You provide the invoice and client details; we handle the follow-up schedule and generate payment links.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the invoice and client information you enter, and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must have a legitimate business relationship with anyone you invoice through Ledgerhawk, and the right to contact them by email.

3. Payments and Stripe Connect

When a client pays an invoice through Ledgerhawk, payment goes directly to your own connected Stripe account — Ledgerhawk never holds, touches, or has access to that money. Stripe's own terms of service govern the actual payment processing. Your Ledgerhawk subscription (the monthly fee you pay us to use the service) is billed separately, also through Stripe.

4. Subscription, trial, and cancellation

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required. After the trial, continued use requires an active paid subscription. You can cancel anytime through your Billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we don't provide partial refunds for unused time.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Ledgerhawk to send reminders to anyone who doesn't actually owe you money, to harass someone after they've indicated they can't pay, or for anything unrelated to legitimate invoice collection. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the reminder system or violate applicable debt-collection or anti-spam law.

6. Your data

You own the client and invoice data you enter. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it. If you close your account, we delete your data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records (e.g., for tax or payment-processing compliance).

7. No warranty, limitation of liability

Ledgerhawk is provided "as is." We do our best to keep reminders sending on schedule and payment links working, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we're not liable for late or unsuccessful client payments, third-party outages (Stripe or email providers), or indirect damages arising from use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
